RESIDUES
Agricultura y Ensayo S.L has a wide experience carrying out residue trials following the GLP guidelines on different kinds of crops under greenhouse, protected or field conditions:
RESIDUE STUDIES IN PLANTS:
- Residue behaviour in vegetative parts of plants
- Residue behaviour in young plants
- Agricultura y Ensayo S.L works with the main crops in Southern Europe, for example:
- Herbaceous crops: cereals, sunflower, rice, cotton, pea, alfalfa
- Vegetables: pepper, tomato, potato, cucumber, zucchini, melon, green bean, cauliflower, broccoli, celery, carrots, artichokes
- Tree crops: stone fruit trees (apricot, peach), pome fruit trees (apple), olive trees, and citrus (orange and lemon trees)
- Tropical crops: banana, mango, persimmon, kaki, papaya, avocado
RESIDUE STUDIES FOR WORKER EXPOSURE (DFR AND OPEX):
- Dislodgeable Foliar Residue (DFR): residue trials to determine the amount of residues from a substance that can be dislodged from the foliage of a crop leaf disc collected with a leaf puncher sampler.
- Occupational Exposure (OpEx): Determination of atmospheric concentrations and occupational fumigators exposure. Static and dynamic air sampling points. Exposure monitoring study. According to the OECD Guidance Document for the Conduct of Studies of Occupational Exposure to Pesticides During Agricultural Application [Series on Testing and Assessment No. 9 OCDE/GD (97) 148], the sampling strategy and study design should take account of the need to establish typical levels and variability of the exposures incurred in the vicinity of the soil mix application of the product to soil in protected crops.
- Field monitoring and collection of guttation
- Pollen collection in sunflower, maize and cotton
- Residues on seeds exposed on soil after sowing
- GMO Trials (Genetic modified organisms)
